“Aw, Ben does Italian-guy voice while eating a New York City hot dog. I love him."

Vogue

"In Real World: New York terms, Ben is the show’s Julie: a wide-eyed Southern ingénue who’s come to the big city to broaden his horizons and discover who he wants to be. Acting classes, open mic nights, and flirtations with guys ensue, in an environment more hospitable to his budding bisexuality..."

Time Magazine

"...a My Fair Lady on Ben to get him street-style ready, because his current style is extremely hometown-glory."

Vogue

"Ben Hard is a Texas transplant who is new to the city, exploring his own identity while trying to build a career in comedy...We were simply looking for people we wanted to watch, spend time with, root for and see grow."

Forbes

Magnetic wild card. Slacker swagger. Artist’s soul.

Benjamin Hard  is a bisexual actor, dancer and comedian hailing from Texas with deep indie roots. His southern charm combined with his coast to coast style makes him someone who will bring both an eccentric, universal appeal and a layered unpredictability to every role he tackles.

Since moving to New York, Ben has become an iconic member of his Brooklyn community due to his kindness, openness and overall down-to-earth demeanor. His undeniable charm landed him on Hulu’s, The Come Up, a GLAAD nominated show for most outstanding reality show, just 6 months after landing in the city, granting him the treat of allowing his mom to see his face on a billboard in Times Square.

He earned mention from Vogue, Times Magazine, New York Magazine and Forbes as well as recognition and praise from fans he bumps into while bartending, further proof of the stuff that begs the question from his closest friends, “when are you going to be famous?”

Since then, Ben has been honing his craft through numerous other indie projects including feature films, one with America’s longest-running independent production company, Troma Films, as well as plenty of work at the off-broadway theater, The Tank.

He’s trained at Second City, Audition Arts with U-Shin Kim, The Barrow Group, process dance with Bessie award-winning choreographer Nicole Mannarino, and Scene Study with Lisa Donadio. He is constantly making new friends and new strides in his performance and is always eager to work, play, discover and have fun!
